Jonah Hill has a message for anyone still picturing him as the awkward teenager from Superbad: don’t try it.
Appearing on a recent podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the 42-year-old actor and filmmaker opened up about his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu…
Making clear the sport has given him a level of confidence that extends well past the gym.
When hobbies came up, Hill brought up Jiu-Jitsu almost immediately, though he admitted the toll it takes on his body:
I love Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Except my body is begging me to not love it.
My wife is often like: “You’re not going to become like a professional fighter. You know that, right? Like, you’re a comedian.”
He wasn’t shy about a hypothetical challenge either.
When Bateman jokingly floated the idea of the two of them squaring off, Hill answered without hesitation:
I would f*** you up. I would f*** all three of you, right?
That confidence carried into a more pointed message aimed at people still holding onto an outdated image of him:
My favorite thing is people are, like: “Oh, Jonah Hill, f*** fat guy from Superbad.”
And I’m like: “I would f***ing annihilate you, dude. I’m not kidding you. Every fight. Try it. If you see me, try it, dude.”
