Loveland police arrested a former BJJ instructor on Friday, following an investigation into multiple allegations of child se*ual assault involving two children he had a caregiving role over.
Alexander Hawkeye Martinez, 29, who also goes by “X,” worked at the now-closed Infinite Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
According to sources, the police said the investigation began after the two victims came forward and disclosed the abuse.
Martinez knew both victims and held a caregiver role at the time of the assaults.
Authorities said they are concerned additional victims may exist, citing both his position as a caregiver and instructor and the nature of the allegations.

Martinez was booked into Larimer County Jail on two counts of Se*ual Assault on a Child – Position of Trust (CRS 18-3-405.3(1)(2), F3), one count of Se*ual Assault on a Child – Position of Trust (CRS 18-3-405.3(1)(2)(a), F3), and two counts of Aggravated Se* Offense Sentence Enhancer (CRS 18-1.3-1004(1)(e)(I)).
A judge set bond over the weekend at $200,000 cash only, with pretrial restrictions in place.
