Bo Nickal is joining the card for Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley, and he’s drawn a tough test to go with it…
As RAF announced Tuesday that Nickal will wrestle Olympic freestyle wrestling champion Shirvani Muradov at RAF Moscow on September 5th – an event headlined by the Chimaev-Woodley matchup.
Nickal, a rising UFC middleweight contender, has recently returned to his wrestling background through RAF, opening with a win over Jacob Cardenas at the promotion’s inaugural event this past August.
A planned matchup with MMA veteran Yoel Romero later fell through, but Nickal remains busy – he’s set to face 2026 NCAA Division-I champion Max McEnelly at RAF 12, before taking on Muradov.
Nickal won three straight NCAA Division-I titles before transitioning into MMA as one of the sport’s most hyped prospects.
He currently holds a 6-1 UFC record, most recently finishing Kyle Daukaus by first-round knockout at UFC White House.
Muradov will be making his RAF debut, entering off an Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling at 96kg (approximately 212 pounds) representing Russia.
