I’m happy to say that the season has finally changed from windows down to windows up. This is a very important development, because during the four hours I’m not sleeping, I spend a lot of my time staring out the window.
It has been a long, tortuous five months of windows down. There were dogs who had the temerity to walk on the grass outside my apartment, right under my nose, and I couldn’t do anything about it. Well, that’s not entirely true — I did do something, I constantly alerted my owners, but they silently ceded my territory without a fight! If anything, they were concerned about me — and not the intruders on our property!
Well, now that the windows are open, I can take care of matters myself — by barking and moaning incessantly at the trespassers. This has not had an effect yet, but I am confident that it will sometime in the next six months.
Also I like the breeze.
