Me: Why do all your electronic devices keep on breaking? What’s going on?
My sister (very seriously): Well, I don’t know. I guess Mercury has been in retrograde.
On a side note, my brother and I recently compared gifts we had received from her in the mail over the years. She is a champion package sender which is an excellent quality to have. But, this means that you will accumulate a large amount of things like giant red plastic hearts, inappropriate necklaces, and Mexican candies. Recently, I got a note attached to a mysterious brown bottle with an eyedropper. It said:
“Healing zinnia extract meant to relieve mental stress. Put 3-10 drops under tongue daily (or on your wrist if you feel more comfortable)!”
Ha ha ha.
