Only 192 days until Relay For Life - one of the most popular ways for communities to honor those who have battled cancer while fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
At UNC, Relay for Life is a Really Big Deal. Dozens of students organize the logistics, and hundreds of teams sign up to participate. This year, the School of Ed team will be co-captained by yours truly, which means that cancer might as well just give up now.
I know my strengths, and I’m pretty certain that one of them is taking care of business/making it happen/getting shit done. When it comes to supporting a worthy cause, multiply that times 10. Or maybe 100. Who knows? I’m unstoppable!
