Tomorrow: Significant mentions of revered scholars expected at education conference, accompanied by up to three hours of fawning applause. Light showers in the afternoon should not interfere with daily routine of eating bonbons by the pool. Possible chance of embarrassing self on dance floor at Duke Homecoming in the later hours of the day.
Saturday: Statistics homework looming as midterm approaches. Slight break predicted in early p.m. with possibility of art museum visit. Duke football game? Forecast uncertain.
Sunday: Desire to visit biscuit shack coming in from the south, but opposing fronts may cause a change in direction, perhaps towards bagels & lox.
Next week: A warm front arriving in from Chicago. 100% chance of watching dance-related movies. Directly related to Christina’s film studies degree, of course. Fun fact: she and I are both on our way to becoming official scholars now. You heard it here first!
